Reviews and Ratings
My stay at this hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms felt a bit damp and in need of renovation, but I loved the view overlooking the river. The service was extremely polite and engaging, although not very knowledgeable about the hotel's main attraction, the river access. The location was perfect for leisurely walks around the village, and the dining experience, while somewhat haphazard, offered exceptional quality dishes.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were very spacious, and the staff looked after us despite being short-staffed. The location is superb, right next to a lovely stream, but the dining area was a little too warm. Definitely recommend this place!
The hotel offers beautifully designed rooms that are a must for your stay, but they were unfortunately too hot and lacked the expected level of elegance, feeling more like a 3-star accommodation. The price of £94 for the room may be a bit high considering the room's condition.
